Q&A: KSI ApBlis – General of Paragon LS

Upon me being hired to the news team hereA?in KSI, my General was happy that someone from our squad was taking initiative to get involved in extra activities in our community.

So I figured it would be quite fitting to do a Q&A with her as my first article. Then you guys could all get a glimpse into the world of Paragon LS and meet the woman bold enough to lead a squad full of crazies!

I was recruited by my General, and I quickly grew fond of the whole squad. We consider ourselves family here, and ApBlis is “Mum” for many reasons.

I am very glad to have such a supportive leader, as well as the rest of the group.

She has built quite a team here in Paragon, and we all take pride in how close knit this group is. I have gotten compliments from many that I have encountered from other squads and divisions about how Paragon functions so well as a unit.

Question : Good evening, fearless leader! Are you excited to be the subject of my first article?
Answer : Yes, I am very excited! I’m so glad you are now part of the news team!

Question : So tell me, how long you have been in KSI?
Answer : I have been in KSI for a little over a year.

Question : When you first joined, did you expect to be General of your own squad?
Answer : Oh, god no. I was shy and not very active. I didn’t even expect to reach officer at first. But after a while I opened up and I was excited to get out there and do more.

Question : How long have you been a General?
Answer : Only about two months.

Question : Do you enjoy being the General of Paragon?
Answer : Oh my gosh, I love it. When I first became Gen I was afraid. Upon being asked, I was skeptical. But once I got the hang of it, I loved it. Now I just wanna build my squad up and show everyone what we’re made of!

Question : What is your favorite thing about being a General?
Answer : I love being able to help teach others, and meet so many great people on a regular basis!

Question : Do you see yourself moving up from General someday?
Answer : Someday, yes. I love to lead, and didn’t even realize it until recently. I would love to get out there and meet others, and be able to get closer with other squads as well!

Question : What is the hardest part about leading a squad?
Answer : I don’t really find anything to be that difficult! I try to look at everything in a positive way, and I enjoy leading. I look at it as helping family, and so far everything has gone smoothly.

Question : So, let’s talk about the girl on the other side of the controller. Where are you from?
Answer : Texas! I’ve lived here my whole life, but I really wanna get out and travel the world! I would like to go into the military, and adventure.

Question : What other hobbies do you have besides gaming with your awesome squad?
Answer : I go to my little sister’s school and help with JROTC as well as helping out with ROTC at a local college. I also love cats! I sing a lot in my free time and want to learn to play guitar. I also enjoy playing pool when I can.

Question : What is your favorite food?
Answer : I absolutely LOVE fried chicken and mexican food such as Quesadillas. And when it comes to deserts, I could live off of cookies and cheesecake!

Question : What kind of music do you like?
Answer : I like all sorts of music. Even classical. Although I am not too fond of the real heavy metal with all that screaming.

Question : Name one of your favorite movies?
Answer : Currently, my favorite movie is Deadpool! I have watched it so many times, and could watch it again and enjoy it.

Question : What are some of your life goals?
Answer : I want to go to college at Norwich University in England, then go into the military as an officer. Then I will make more and could help out my friends and family that are struggling financially.

Question : What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Answer : When I was in sixth grade, some guy threatened to kill me so I took a knife to school to protect myself. Got ISS for a month! I don’t know what I was thinking, but I guess I wasn’t planning on going down without a fight.

Question : If you could have one wish granted, what would you wish for?
Answer : I suppose it would be money, because I wish I could help all of those I care about and be able to take care of everyone with whatever they need in life so they could be happy!

Question : Did you enjoy being interviewed?
Answer : Oh, it was amazing! I have never been interviewed before and I enjoyed it alot. I felt really comfortable answering the questions and giving everyone a chance to learn more about me.
