A look back at E3 2017
E3 came and went, but let’s take a look at what E3 means for the future of gaming.
E3 showed us some exciting things this year. A new console, a whole list of new games and things to come. The expo has come and gone, and now we’re going to take a look back at what happened.
This is going to be an exciting year for Xbox users. With Xbox going back to exclusive games, it shows they are really concentrating bringing the best experience to the gamers. With the announcement of all the new games coming out this year, we have what seems like a never ending list of things to look forward to.
The new console the Xbox One X — or the XXX as I fondly call it — is beyond next generation. This console will change the way we look at Xbox. With all the upgrades it sounds like something out of the future. The most powerful console ever made, it promises to bring us into the future of gaming. With 4K HD quality it will set the bar high above the competition.
Along with all the bells and whistles it will come with backwards compatibility. Yes, all of your Xbox one games and accessories will transfer over. This console will blow away anything we have seen before.
Some of the new games coming out this year look fantastic, specifically “Sea Of Thieves,” and “Anthem.” These two games stood out above all others in my opinion.
Sea Of Thieves is going to be the pirate game we have always wanted. From hidden treasure to epic sea battles, this game is sure to thrill any of you pirates out there. The sea battles are very life like even down to the weather. This will be the first Xbox exclusive game in a long time, so suck it PlayStation.
With Sea Of Thieves you will be able to team up with your friends and man the deck of a ship. Only with teamwork and brutality will you be able to claim the sea as their own. I for one can’t wait to man the helm of my very own pirate ship, with a crew of my friends to sing sea shanties. Drunken Sailor is about to make a huge comeback on the charts!
Anthem is going to be one of the most anticipated games of the year. With its stunning graphics and immersive story line it promises to be one of the best games of the year. With all of the customization it really allows the player to choose how they play.
With play somewhat resembling the Destiny play style it looks to challenge destiny 2 for game of the year. With Anthem you will be put into an ecosuit, that is fully customizable.
You can customize everything from the weapons, to the armor, and even down to the paint job of the suit. You can go the tank route, and be an unstoppable wrecking ball, or you may go with the light and speedy scout. The game really allows you to choose how you want to play.
With 23 new Xbox exclusive games coming out, E3 has us really excited for this next year of gaming. Never failing to come out with innovative technology, and exciting new games. Xbox has outdone themselves once again.
I hope all of you are as excited as this gamer is for the future of gaming. See you all on the Xbox One X.
