Weekend Warfare Coverage: Karaoke Night

On Saturday, February 13th, the Tournaments and Events Team of KSI held it’s much anticipated Weekend Warfare event, a Karaoke night. The theme,A?Love and Heartbreak, drew many members in.

The winner, KSI Vocalz, sat down with me and we had a chat about the night.

When you first heard of theA?karaokeA?contest, what did you think of it?

The second I saw it (the karaoke contest), I knew I was going to sign up. I’ve always been into these kind of events, and I loved the theme. With the help of my friends, we sat down and went though some songs, and I found the perfect one to sing.

How interesting. What song did you sing?

I sang,A?I Never Told You – Colbie Calliat.

And what made you choose this song?

Of course! I always plan to participate. I want to motivate others. People can shock themselves on how well they can really sing.

If you could give some advice to anyone wanting to take part inA?KaraokeA?Nights, as a part of WeekendA?Warfare, in the future, what would you tell them?

Don’t be discouraged on your first time. Keep practicing in front of yourself, but also ask others you encounter if you can practice in front of them. That’s what I did. I asked my friends and they were more than willing to listen to me sing. If you don’t do well your first time, that’s okay just keep going with it.
