Xbox Announces Game Pass

Xbox has announced the “Xbox Game Pass,” which will offer subscribers access to hundreds of game titles.

Microsoft has announced an upcoming program for it’s Xbox fanatics.

Beginning in the Spring, for $10 a month, Xbox players can enjoy access to more than 100 titles on the console.

From the release:

Today, wea??re continuing our commitment to give you more options to diversify and expand your library of games with Xbox Game Pass, a new gaming subscription service coming later this spring. Xbox Game Pass gives you unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 games – all for $9.99 per month.

Some of the games included in the bundle are: Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, NBA 2K16 and SoulCalibur II.

The image Xbox used on its website also included Saints Row IV, Lego Batman, Mad Max, and Fable 3.

Xbox has already released an alpha version of this program to select participants, and it will be released to everyone else in a few months.

The concept of this idea seems to be in line with EA Access, which allows subscribers to gain access to nearly every title Electronic Arts has to offer, but Xbox has used its platform to garner participation from other developers and studios.

What do you think? Will you subscribe to the new program?
